Summary

As an event space, The Assembly Room’s goal was to increase reach and ultimately tours and bookings of their space to increase revenue. They came to us without any social media presence at all. We targeted three platforms for them: Instagram, Facebook, and Wedding Wire. We used a combination of organic and paid promotion to grow their reach and exposure in the industry.

Deliverables

Since The Assembly Room didn’t have any presence or assets at all, the first thing we had to do was get imagery to use for their brand identity. We arranged several photoshoots of their space with local professional photographers so they would own some of their own photos. Then we reached out to established photographers, event planners, and industry influencers. We invited them to use The Assembly Room space for staged photos in exchange for usage rights. This partnership generated hundreds and hundreds of professional photographs of the venue in record-time. Once we had the professional photographs, we arranged their Instagram and Facebook feeds in a way that would leverage the diversity of the imagery we now had, as well as leverage the relationships we had built with industry pros during the staged shoots. The professional look and community of shares that this strategy created was directly responsible for growing the account following quickly and exponentially. When this newfound reach was combined with local hashtag research and apps that could isolate users and planners looking for venues in the Charlotte area their tours and bookings shot up… from brand new venue to 70% booked in under three months.
