Bellwether Social – Social Media in Charlotte NC and beyond.

We started Bellwether Social in Charlotte, NC in 2020. It began out of necessity really: a growing need from our existing clients in our publishing business. Our clients saw the success we were having and wanted to achieve that reach and engagement as well. But, they needed to focus on what they did best. So, they came to us and simply asked, “have you ever thought of managing accounts for other businesses?” Honestly, it had never dawned on us, but social media is our wheelhouse. There are so many commonalities between social media and the publishing and advertising industry. We have always focused on content being king. We have always prioritized beautiful imagery. We have always engaged with our readers. And storytelling has always been #1. We also have been producing and editing video content for our website for years. All of those details are truly valuable in a successful social media account and campaign. So, initially we took on one client, just to see how we would do. That client has 100x’d his following growing from less than 400 followers to 40,000…and the rest is history. Now, at Bellwether Social we focus on planning impactful strategies for our clients, developing a unique and original story for them, and connecting with their audience with intention. When you do all of this with consistency, then your business will become an industry leader…or as we like to say…a bellwether.
